Anna Lee Janowitz, in Memory

Anna Lee Janowitz was born January 31, 1985, in Fruita, Colorado. Her parents were Clint and Diana Janowitz and she had three sisters: Chelsea, Brooke and Deena. Her joys were her family, her friends, and running. A Junior at Fruita Monument High School at the time of her death, she was one of the stars of the schools cross-country running team. Hundreds of her fellow students, teammates and members of the community attended her memorial.

"Anna was an all-around beautiful girl. She added so much laughter and love to every situation. I was so lucky to know her for as long as I did and the memories we made will be with me forever. I loved Anna and find comfort in the fact that she's walking the path of life right along side me."

"I'm finding I still miss Anna more and more each day. I miss her cheerful attitude, her desire to continually improve, and the ease with which she said, "I love you." Her legacy to me - and to all those she was closest to - is to help us remember to tell the people in our lives how much they mean to us. If we can all try to do that, then we can all keep Anna's spirit alive, both in our hearts and at Fruita Monument High School."

Glory is a great honor, and
admiration is won by doing
something important or valuable.
To me, Glory is something that
many experience when overcoming
an important obstacle. It is a meaningful obstacle that is tough,
one that is valuable.

Glory is also a word used in church a lot. Glory is a bliss of heaven. When you reach heaven, you will have ultimate Glory. But to get there first, you have to overcome life and believe in God. I see it as stars everywhere, angels all around with halos on their heads, and there will be light shinning in all directions.

Glory is being one's happiest.

I hope now that you understand how I feel about Glory and what it is to me. Glory gets me through so many races and through each day knowing that someday I will be at a place where Glory doesn't get any better than that.
